Earlier this week, we relished an invite to a private view of the TIGI 2017 SHIFT Collection and book of the same name. Hosted by Anthony Mascolo, TIGI International creative director, and the TIGI Creative Team, the party took place at Manolo’s private Studio in Battersea. The ‘Library Space’ is part-working studio, part gallery, part collective of Anthony’s work, and full of interesting modern artefacts around hair. A chandelier of hair tools, mannequins and hair sculptures did draw our attention! Wonderfully, the venue preserves the old wooden shelves and furnishings of the library it once was – what a stunning place! After the team welcomed us, they presented pictures from the book and talked us through new colour techniques and trends. Anthony and his team presented six live models and each guest was gifted a personal copy of SHIFT before they left… We genuinely enjoyed every minute of this evening; thanks Anthony and team!
